Well, it’s November and the leaves have fallen along with morning frosts that greet us most mornings. But a month ago, Brittany and Seth got married on a beautiful Fall Day at Montagu Meadows Wedding Venue. On October 18, 2025, the sun was shining, the leaves were changing, and lots of love was in the air. This was the day Brittany and Seth waited for. Some love stories start early and only grow stronger with time and that’s exactly the case for Brittany and Seth. The two first met as students at Francis Scott Key High School, where Seth played basketball and Brittany was a cheerleader. Though life took them in different directions after graduation, fate had other plans. Years later, they reconnected through social media, and the friendship that started in high school quickly reignited into a lasting love.
Their wedding day at Montagu Meadows was the perfect reflection of their journey. It was a day filled with earthy elegance, personal touches, and so much joy shared with family and friends.
A Peaceful Morning at the Bridal Cottage
The bridal suite came alive early that morning as Brittany and her bridesmaids arrived at 9 a.m. for a relaxed and joyful start to the day. Illuminate by Peak worked their magic with makeup, and Hair by Brittany styled the bridal party with effortless beauty. Before getting dressed, Brittany presented Yvonne, her mother-in-law with a beautiful jewelry tray. This gift was a thoughtful, sentimental gift that set the tone for the heartfelt moments to come.
The wedding color palette was a romantic mix of terracotta and earthy tones,

complementing the rustic elegance of the barn and surrounding countryside. Brittany’s gown from Posh Bridal, designed by Essence of Australia, was a true showstopper. The dress was classic, romantic, and timeless and brought her hubby to be to tears. Her bridesmaids looked stunning in dresses from Azazie, perfectly coordinated in warm tones that reflected the natural setting of Montagu Meadows.
Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen arrived around noon to enjoy some down time shooting pool, playing corn hole and sharing laughs before the

festivities began. Seth and the fathers wore jackets from Country View Tux, while the groomsmen sported Wrangler jeans and navy button-down shirts, blending casual charm with country sophistication.
First Looks & a Scenic Wedding Ceremony at Pond View
Before the wedding ceremony, Brittany shared two emotional first looks: one with her father, David, and another with her soon-to-be husband, Seth. Both moments were filled with love, happy tears, and anticipation.
The ceremony took place at the pond-view ceremony site, framed by Montagu

Meadows’ signature wooden arch, beautifully adorned with Hiddenvale florals and surrounded by stunning flower gardens. Hiddenvale also designed the stunning bouquets, floral arrangements on whiskey barrels, and lush greenery garlands for the farmhouse tables in the barn.
A particularly touching detail was the In Memory chair created to honor Brittany’s late mother. With a framed photo, a heartfelt memorial sign, and a white satin bow, the display was a beautiful tribute that brought both tears and comfort to those who knew her spirit was present.
Burnside Events provided the ceremony music, setting the perfect tone for

Brittany’s walk down the aisle. The couple’s officiant, Married With Love by Lauren, led a heartfelt ceremony filled with laughter, love, humor and authenticity.
Lauren from Best Day Events also thoughtfully prepared a charming cart filled with flower petals for guests to toss as Brittany and Seth made their joyful recessional. A unity sand display, set atop of one of the whiskey barrels, symbolized their bond as they privately blended their sands together before the ceremony.
Cocktail Hour Fun
After the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with delicious drinks and appetizers catered by CarterQue out of Mt. Airy, Maryland who also handled bartending for the evening. Guests sipped on a fun variety of beverages from local beers and High Noons to Surface Vodka Lemonade and the ever-popular Devil’s Backbone Orange Crushes.
Brittany and Seth added playful and personal touches throughout the cocktail space. Guests were invited to complete a custom crossword puzzle called “Sip & Solve”, a creative and interactive twist that had everyone smiling. Cornhole boards were also set up for guests to enjoy under the open sky which provided the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.
Wedding Reception in the Historic Barn
As the sun dipped behind the rolling hills, the celebration moved into the

historic 1850s barn, where warm lights and romantic details awaited. Best Day Events coordinated the day flawlessly, and Lauren took care of the beautiful setup from the floral touches to the sentimental details that made the day uniquely Brittany and Seths.
The farmhouse tables featured black candlesticks borrowed from the Something Borrowed room at Montagu Meadows, wooden slabs handmade by the groom, velvet napkins, and table numbers showcasing photos of the couple each topped with a touch of rustic charm using deer antlers.
Lively bridal party introductions and special dances which included the couple’s first dance as husband and wife, Brittany with her father, and Seth with his mother. Additionally, the Reverse Anniversary Dance got everyone on their feet, starting with the longest-married couple leading the way. This was a beautiful reminder of the love stories that inspire the next generation. Dinner followed the special dances and was catered by CarterQue.
As the night continued, the barn glowed with glow sticks and sunglasses, and DJ Burnside kept the dance floor packed until the very end. Guests celebrated, laughed, and danced the night away which was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
Capturing the Memories

Every moment of the day was beautifully documented by Samyi Bierman Photography and Bill Foster Film, ensuring Brittany and Seth will be able to relive their wedding day for years to come. Even Christina, the owner of Montagu Meadows got involved and captured some candid content for the couple.
From the quiet moments to the wild dance floor celebrations, their Montagu Meadows wedding was a day that truly reflected who they are: joyful, grounded, and deeply in love.
Congratulations, Brittany and Seth! Your story is one that began in high school, but it’s clear that this is just the start of your forever.
