As the owner of Montagu Meadows Wedding Venue, I am fortunate to witness many beautiful love stories. And this one did not disappoint. Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places, and for Stefania and Jared, it all started with a simple swipe on Hinge. What began as a dating app connection quickly grew into a relationship filled with laughter, adventure, and a deep love that led them to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by family and friends at Montagu Meadows Wedding Venue in Westminster, Maryland.
A Surprise Wedding Proposal in the Pennsylvania Mountains
Before their unforgettable wedding day, Jared planned a proposal that Stefania would never forget.
On May 25, 2025, the couple was spending a beautiful weekend at their family farm in Pennsylvania. Jared, Stefania, her parents, and Jared’s brother were relaxing on the deck of the main house overlooking the breathtaking mountain views.
Sitting comfortably in a camping chair with no makeup, a messy bun, leggings, and a t-shirt, she was chatting with her parents when she suddenly heard Jared call her name. Stefania was completely caught off guard.
As she turned to her left, she saw Jared down on one knee holding a beautiful engagement ring.
Her jaw dropped.
Then she noticed everyone was recording her and Jared.
Jared looked at her and asked the question she had dreamed about:
“Will you marry me?”
Stefania immediately jumped up and down with excitement and replied, “Of course I will!”
She describes that day as the second-best day of her life! Second only to their wedding day in Westminster, Maryland.
Wedding Date
Stefania and Jared choose May 30, 2026 as their marriage day. They chose this date because it was close to the year anniversary of their engagement and the weather tends to be cooler. In fact, approximately 15% of couples in the United States get married in May, making this one of the most popular months to get married.
Wedding Rehearsal Day in Carroll County, Maryland
The wedding festivities began on Friday with a rehearsal at Montagu Meadows Wedding Venue. Wedding coordinator Megan from A Tid Bit Bridal guided the wedding party through the ceremony plans, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and prepared for the wedding day.
Stefania brought many of her own personal décor items while also incorporating pieces from Montagu Meadows’ popular Something Borrowed Room, allowing couples to utilize beautiful wedding décor at no additional cost.
The ceremony was officiated by Norm from Weddings by Norm, who helped make the rehearsal both organized, funny and enjoyable.
Afterward, Megan stayed behind to decorate the reception tables while Stefania and Jared, along with their wedding party and parents, enjoyed a rehearsal dinner at Illiano’s J & P Restaurant in Westminster.
A Relaxing Morning Before “I Do”
Wedding day arrived on May 30 with perfect anticipation and excitement.
Stefania, her bridesmaids, and her mother arrived at Montagu Meadows at 9:00 a.m. to enjoy a light breakfast and spend a relaxing morning getting ready in the bridal suite.

Meanwhile, Jared and his groomsmen arrived later in the morning and spent time relaxing, playing pool, and enjoying a few quiet moments together before the festivities began.
The First Look Prank Everyone Will Remember
One of Stefania’s favorite memories happened before the ceremony during what was supposed to be a traditional first look.
Stefania convinced Jared that he was about to see her in her wedding dress for the first time.
As Jared stood waiting with anticipation, he was instructed to turn around.
But instead of seeing his bride, he was greeted by his best friend Bob wearing a wedding dress similar to Stefania. They purchased the look alike dress online and it fit Bob to a T!
The prank caught Jared completely off guard and had everyone laughing. It quickly became one of the most memorable and talked-about moments of the day.
Wedding Style with Personal Touches
Stefania looked absolutely stunning in a gown designed by Grace Loves Lace, an Australian bridal designer known for elegant and timeless wedding dresses. She originally found and tried on a sample gown at one of their Washington, D.C. locations.
Her bridesmaids complemented the wedding’s natural countryside setting beautifully, wearing Azazie dresses in the color Matcha.
Jared embraced a relaxed rustic style that perfectly matched the venue:

The result was a perfect blend of elegance and country charm.
A Beautiful Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
At 4:30 p.m., family and friends gathered to witness Stefania and Jared exchange vows surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Montagu Meadows in Westminster, Maryland.
With rolling countryside views, blooming gardens, and the rustic charm of the barn venue, the setting provided a stunning backdrop for a heartfelt ceremony filled with love, laughter, and happy tears.

Dancing the Night Away
As the sun began to set over the property, guests gathered inside the beautifully lit barn to celebrate the newlyweds. Stefania and Jared made a beautiful wood sign with their last name on it as their guest book. They asked all of their guests to write a short message to them on the wood sign. Dinner and bartending services were provided by PIGS BBQ from Frederick, Maryland. The food was delicious and the team was friendly and attentive throughout the event.
With music provided by Rob Johnson of Burrell Entertainment, the dance floor stayed lively throughout the evening as family and friends celebrated Stefania and Jared’s new chapter together.
The Evening ended with two sparkler exits. One took place with just the wedding party and the couple's parents on the side of the barn. The other one at the very end of the evening after the couple's private last dance inside the barn included all the guests on the patio.
Between heartfelt speeches, delicious food, beautiful florals, and countless joyful moments, the reception perfectly reflected the couple’s fun-loving personalities.
Honeymooning in Paradise
After celebrating with loved ones, Stefania and Jared headed off to begin married life together with a honeymoon at Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas.
The all-inclusive tropical getaway provided the perfect opportunity to relax, reflect on their incredible wedding day, and begin their next adventure as husband and wife.
